The SHIELD program (Smart Health and Intelligent Engineering for Life and Data) is a pioneering Franco-Indian double degree Master’s program jointly developed by Université Côte d’Azur (France) and the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi).
It is part of the Franco-Indian Campus in Life Sciences for Health (CFI-SVS) — a network connecting leading universities and research centres to foster excellence in education, research, and innovation.
🌍 A Unique Academic Experience
SHIELD offers you the opportunity to study in both France and India, gaining a global perspective on the digital transformation of healthcare.
Students spend one academic year at each partner institution, experience diverse learning environments, and benefit from joint supervision by international experts.
Students successfully participating in this program will be awarded:
- a Master degree in Life Sciences (reference RNCP35342I), specialized in Computational Biology, track “Bio-informatique et Biologie Computationnelle” from Université Côte d'Azur,
- a Master degree in Technology in Computational Biology from Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology
Upon completion, graduates receive a joint Master’s double degree, officially recognised in both countries.
